Two recent Planet Waves Weekly essays are posted on PlanetWaves.net. There are two. The first is called Love in the Time of Depleted Uranium, which starts as a rant and then develops into a perspective piece on the similarity between the Vietnam War (1954-1975) and Bush War II. (Here is the cover that was devoted to that article.) The second is called Remember a Day, which is an astrological perspective piece looking at the effects of the total solar eclipse coming on Sunday in the sign Sagittarius. They are posted in the general access area of the site and will open in separate browser windows. I'd also like to suggest that you read an essay by William Rivers Pitt, the bestselling political author and editor of Truthout.org, called Without Honor.

Sagittarius This Week (Nov. 28, 2003) __Forget about trying to process this all with your rational mind. Oh, right, you've already figured that out.
__I It only gets more interesting from here, and I don't mean that in the "Old Chinese Curse" sense of the word. Interesting means life holds your interest, which is good for everyone. Take it easy with the cosmic messenger energy; deliver your updates to those who will partake in measured and thought-through doses, interspersed liberally with theatre reviews. Take your friends out to dinner or put a big pot on the stove and listen to their stories. You already know a lot; you will discover the missing information you seek.

"I have been reading your horoscopes for a couple of years now. While I realize that you are writing for a large audience, they are so close to the mark, they make me edgy. Some dust bunnies blew through my brain the other day and I knew enough to take a good look at them because they were really relevant to my situation. Thank you so much. A Devoted Reader."
