Priya Waves by Priya Kale
Born in Bombay and now living in New York City, Priya takes on the astrology of the day, with a focus on minor planets. She has been studying astrology since childhood. After nearly one year doing this daily web log, she has evolved into a clear and original astrological voice, with commentaries on her personal experiences as a young astrologer making her way in the world.
Lunations by Kirsti Melto
Lunations focuses on the astrology of major events such as eclipses, solstices and lunations. Kirsti is a gifted research astrologer and articulate writer offering an original perspective on astrological events. Writing from Finland, Kirsti has been closely tracking the development of the centaur planets and trans-Neptunian objects in the astrological community.
Psychsound by Steve Bergstein
Steve is a civil rights attorney practicing in New York, and this series will help keep you informed about developments in constitutional law -- a topic increasing in importance as the long and harrowing Bush-Cheney years unfold. Steve also writes a blog called Wait A Second, providing information about civil rights law to the New York legal community.
Political Waves by Judith Gayle
It is difficult to take a spiritual perspective on the news, but Judith succeeds brilliantly. Now in its fifth year, Political Waves integrates A Course in Miracles, highly educated leftist philosophy and common sense in her daily analysis of the news. Hers is a brave and refreshing voice in a world that only seems to deliver bad news.
Revolution is Not a Dinner Party by Sally Sunshine
Sally is one of our latest and greatest discoveries at Planet Waves, and her blog is the most adventurous sex series we've ever seen. She is a conservative accountant by day, who pursues the most interesting bisexual adventures nights and weekends. Covering everything from cheating to menstruation, no subject is taboo or too squirmy for her to take on boldly. Her name is Sunshine, but she explores the light and the shadow of sexuality.
Dioxin Dorms by Eric Francis
Part blog, part archive of Eric's environmental writing since the 1990s, this project was created to warn students at SUNY New Paltz about the real condition of their dorms. We are developing it into a global resource for the movement for environmental justice. Eric's hardcore collaborators on this project include Anatoly (the webmaster), Tania (the typist and proofreader), and Carol van Strum, Eric's environmental journalism mentor. Dedicated with love to those stranded in Bliss, Capen, Gage and Scudder halls.
Astrology Secrets Revealed Forum by Paloma Todd and Deirdre Tanton
Paloma and Deirdre, two talented astrologers with many years of experience, take astrology questions from the public in this blog. Responses are compassionate, personal and in-depth, and the subject matter is widely diverse. You are invited to participate by asking questions, offering comments, or dropping in for a good read. This series picks up where the original Astrology Secrets Revealed on Jonathan Cainer's site left off last summer.
DanielleVoirin.com by Danielle Voirin
Dani is our photo editor, and her webpage highlights some of her work -- though the best has yet to be published. She appears near-daily on our main cover, with her unique combination of art and reportage. Much more can be found in her Flickr exhibit of Planet Waves covers. Dani is an aspiring photojournalist who has traveled Europe and the United States for the past four years developing her exceptional talents.
Book of Blue by Eric Francis
This is Eric's fiction-fantasy-photo website, developed with much help from Paloma Todd, our special projects photo editor in Spain. Book of Blue is an experiment in both voice, and also in commenting on photographs, photography and the models he has worked with the past two years. Eric describes this site as an exploration of his science fiction writing aspirations; in truth, it's a bit stranger than fiction.
