Taurus (April 19-May 20)
As you make your way in the world, consider the men who have influenced you the most. What troubled them? What did they come up against that prevented them from enjoying life and from living up to their sense of their own potential? If you find yourself being confronted by the same things, I suggest you take a chance and dare to go beyond them. Too often, one generation after the next inherits the limitations and blocks of their forebears, and we typically attract people who help us make sure the patterns stick. New things are happening in your life now, which are thrusting you into the present, which could not be further away from the past.
 
Gemini (May 20-June 21)
You seem to be living a dual life of some kind, and not in the ordinary sense associated with your birth sign. One experience involves something that you're presenting to the world, and one that only you know about. You might want to reverse the roles: the one that's seemingly secret feels like it would be a lot happier out in the open. The one you're currently putting out into the world where everyone can see it is really a deeply private sensibility that you can share with just a few individuals, or maybe just the one you want to most. More is possible than you think at the moment.
 
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Nothing can hold you back right now, particularly your old ideas about life that always did such a good job of keeping you stuck. Everyone wishes they could wake up each morning and see the world and their life as a new place. In truth it is, but we carry around these weird things called egos that tend to keep us trapped in a paper mache house made of last year's newspaper clippings. This is a prison with thin walls, which you can tear apart with your hands.
 
Leo (July 22-Aug. 23)
You may need to make an effort to keep career-related matters on a positive theme for the next few weeks, but the effort will pay off. Once again, the focus is on agreements and making sure they are innovative enough to embrace some of the more exciting possibilities, but focused enough to contain them. It may take a while to get the balance correct, but if you keep your ultimate goal in mind, it will make more sense and result in an easier creative process. The distinctly personal part of this for you is making sure you orient yourself on success as you define it, recognizing that other people have very different, but compatible, ideas.
 
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22)
You keep wishing for someone or something to sweep you off your feet and into the future, though I suggest you not be offended if it does so a bit aggressively. You can at this point anticipate what is going to happen, and this will give you an opportunity to synchronize yourself with whatever developments are on the way. You may not, at this point, see how some spontaneous, even wild developments can actually fit with your long-term vision for your life, but the planets are in harmony no matter how odd or stunning the affairs of the world may seem. Sniff the wind and step into the breeze.
 
Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23)
The emphasis on the sky is currently in the earth, water and fire signs; Venus, your ruling planet, is one of the few planets in an air sign. You may, given this setup, want to look for the people who are the most available, who you can talk to or relate to, rather than those who seem to have their lights off, be too distant to reach, or have little in common with you. The thing is, you are likely to need to cross the distance. Where you usually live, you may not be finding the person or kind of people who will feed your soul. If you seek them out and show up with an open mind, you're likely to be met with a long breath of truth and freedom.
 
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
Thunderous astrology in your empathic water sign, Pisces, in these weeks is pushing and stretching you in some excellent new directions. You like it hot; you like your life to be a little bit wild; now is your big chance to have reality not only live up to your fantasies, but also exceed anything you've imagined you were capable of. The people who love you are feeling your energy and they are willing to rise to the occasion.
 
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22)
Restless hardly begins to describe your emotional environment at the moment. It's like you're sitting in a little boat on a boiling sea of your own passions. But your solar chart reflects an odd reaction to this churning heat and yearning: you may be inclined to hold back, to save yourself in some way, or to experience it mainly as something internal and not something you express in the world. I suggest you overcome your inhibitions and give your feelings a big vent in the world. Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20)
