Aries Equinox: March 20, 2005 (Minor Planets)This is an interesting one: Amor conjunct the Sun on the vernal (Aries) equinox. Could we be talking about the Spring of Love? Hmmm. Did you know that both Casanova and Alfred Kinsey have Amor conjunct the Sun in their natal charts? It must mean something. It really must mean something because Pholus is in Sagittarius, which lets things out of the jar, exactly precisely trine the Sun and the Aries Point and Amor. And we know about trines: them cut loose. But to complicate matters, the Moon appears to be as void of course as a greased pig, in Cancer. Wait a second, it's opposite Mars in Capricorn. That's not very void of course. Or if it is, it's a roasted pig, or if you're a vegetarian, a tempeh pig. But seriously, the temperature is 'hot', which is the right temperature for the Spring of Love. But it also speaks of emotional complexity and one thing leading to another leading to some, well, potential issues, which were born to be resolved. If you want to get really technical, look at how the Sun, Moon and Pholus are grandly trine (with the Sun 'out of sign' and Mars opposite the Moon). If you're wondering what a kite pattern is, that's one; it's a grand trine with a bit stuck on the odd end, in this case Mars. The hang-up is itself the way out; the way beyond. Plus, on top of it all, Neptune is trine Jupiter. Peace and love, man. Mercury is retrograde, in Aries. In the immortal words of Tina Weymouth, "No talking, just head." This is opposite quite nearly almost exactly Jupiter retrograde, in Libra, the sign of relationships; bring your own interpretation. That, and we are on the cusp of the ever-meaningful Mars-Chiron conjunction, which happens in Aquarius. Remember, don't waste it, burn your draft card where there are TV cameras, so other people get the idea. |
