This week at Planet Waves
Dear Planet Waves Reader:
The December monthly horoscopes have just been distributed to subscribers, while meanwhile over on Planet Waves Daily Astrology and Adventure (our free website) you can read a
Thanksgiving greeting from Eric Francis.

This beautiful cosmic cloud is a popular stop on telescopic tours of the constellation Sagittarius. Eighteenth century cosmic tourist Charles Messier cataloged the bright nebula as M8. Modern day astronomers recognize the Lagoon Nebula as an active stellar nursery about 5,000 light-years distant, in the direction of the center of our Milky Way Galaxy. Photo from APOD.

You can find
Len's Thanksgiving Day offering here, the latest in his Daily Astrology series
. Sarah Taylor, a contributor in the UK, posts two tarot articles per week. Her article last weekend
investigates The Moon, and in the latest installment, a
guest tarot writer walks us through an intuitive method of letting a tarot card speak to us.
Eric delivers a
free weekly audio podcast on the current astrology every Wednesday. This week's podcast focuses on the Sagittarius alignment and its relationship to the "national security" news. He also touches on the Sagittarius New Moon, some holiday travel advice and the skirmish-standoff episode between
North Korea and South Korea, which also has its own separate blog post. Remember two weeks ago when Eric cautioned that the astrology looked like we may be headed toward "some hotly polarized, extremely exaggerated international situation that pops up seemingly out of nowhere?" Guess what: this incident fits the bill.
In other exciting year-end news at Planet Waves, Eric has made
Cosmic Confidential -- the 2010 annual edition -- free to all for the weekend. If you've ever wondered what all the fuss is about, take a few minutes (or a few days) to check it out. It's an incredible amount of personal astrology information.
This invitation into Cosmic Confidential is designed to give you an idea what Eric does with the annual edition. He's now at work on the 2011 annual. Please watch your email over the next few days for a one-time special offer on Light Bridge, the 2011 annual edition of Planet Waves. That email will be clearly marked
"Light Bridge Special Offer." It will be a 24-hour offer, so you will need to act on it promptly -- then Light Bridge will go up to full price.
As you can see, as befits the blog's name, it's always an adventure, and we invite you to come exploring with us.
Yours & truly,
Amanda Painter
