2013 Annual Edition and Schedule Update

Late autumn and early winter is when I prepare the annual edition of Planet Waves, which includes audio and written readings for all 12 signs and many other features including articles, art and -- this year -- music. The annual is an established Internet tradition, providing an immediate, in-depth look at your current astrology. (It's separate from a subscription to Planet Waves, providing many more features, which I will describe shortly.)

Each year, the annual has a different theme, reflecting the times in which we're living. This year's annual is called LISTEN, covering the themes of listening to ourselves, to one another, to our astrology and to other factors in our environment. How can we develop deeper understanding and empathy? What changes do we need to make? How can we communicate better with others?

A Dependable, Affordable Way to Learn from Your Astrology

The astrology has been pushing us hard in recent years, with the sensation of nonstop change and imperative growth. Everyone has been feeling this, though not everyone knows what's happening -- or how to respond.

There is a logic to what is developing, and my role is to help you see what it's about. In this edition, I am going deeply into the transits that have taken form -- Saturn in Scorpio, all the outer planets having changed signs recently, Chiron in Pisces and other factors that influence our lives now. I offer detailed, unusually intimate readings that will help you light the way forward and progress on your path of growth and healing.

The LISTEN readings are presented in both audio and written format, covering related themes in different ways. I speak in plain English, focusing on your emotional and spiritual growth, relationships and inner life. I also cover the creative, professional and financial aspects of life.

I include charts in several formats, so that you can study them if you like.

Though these readings are devoted to your Sun sign and rising sign, they make contact with you in a way that most astrologers would say is impossible. That's unlikely to be true, as this is our 14th annual edition. It includes your readings as well as articles by our most talented writers -- including many new writers. The annual is a big project, which in many ways feels like learning astrology from the beginning. This edition builds on the past four years, wherein I've been methodically preparing for the transits of 2012 and beyond. I've been casting and developing the charts since August, and the work is coming out beautifully. I am planning to deliver the audio sections by Dec. 21 (not a promise, but a focused goal) and the written portions in January, as usual. These readings are designed to prepare you to make the most of the coming year, in your inner as well as your outer life. They are built to last, and many readers refer back to them repeatedly through the year.

Publishing Schedule Update

This year, I'm making some extra room in the publishing schedule to get the work done efficiently and have some time off for the holidays. My goal is to deliver your readings in my usual impeccable style, working at a more relaxed pace around the time of the holiday season.

The first change from previous years will be pausing regular subscriber editions through the holidays. The last regular subscriber edition of Planet Waves for 2012 will be the edition of Friday, Dec. 21 -- the 2012 winter solstice. This will include my final commentary on the Mayan calendar turnover and the January monthly horoscope.

Please note that we will continue our regular publishing schedule on the Planet Waves Daily Astrology and Adventure blog during this brief hiatus from the subscriber issues.

We will then resume Friday editions on Friday, Jan. 10.
