This announcement is particularly for people in the Hudson Valley of New York, but if you have friends in that region, please pass it along to them. It is an invitation. I will be speaking at 7:35 pm on Thursday, May 10, as a guest of the Student Association, in Lecture Center 102 (also called LC102). This is my first invited speaking engagement on the subject of the campus's dioxin contamination problem. In this talk, I will describe the situation in the New Paltz dormitories, and also where it fits into the global dioxin and PCB crisis as documented in my cover story in Sierra magazine. This will include a discussion of endocrine disruption, as well as a question and answer period. The talk is free. Many Planet Waves readers will be familiar with this issue from my recent coverage. I appreciate your ongoing interest and support in this long-term project, which predates my work as an astrologer by several years. For more information, please visit this link. I truly look forward to this opportunity to meet readers in the Hudson Valley and New York City. New Paltz is about a two-hour drive from Manhattan. For driving directions from the city, please call Chelsea at (206) 567-4455, or email chelsea@planetwaves.net. Remember -- New Paltz is everywhere.
