Aries (March 20-April 19)
Is it necessary for people to live with so many conflicts involving possessiveness and freedom? These seem to be two different values that we bring into our loving relationships, two styles of caring about a person. Yet they come from profoundly different underlying premises. To possess someone is about fear. Someday, perhaps, the human race will understand that to love someone is to recognize their inherent freedom; and that the love flows deeper the moment we open up and recognize a person's individuality. Humanity may take a while to wake up; but you can get it right now.
 
Taurus (April 19-May 20)
A close partner or loved one is going through a change that you may not understand. Faced with similar circumstances, you respond differently, at least in terms of how you act. But see if you can get past the surface appearance and make contact with the deeper, underlying feeling involved. You may discover something you have in common, which can be the basis for going to a deeper level of contact. The trick, if there is one, is going past perceptions and getting to the heart of the matter. Hint: this will work better with fewer words rather than more of them.
 
Gemini (May 20-June 21)
How important are the words you say? You might want to size this up today. How do you express yourself? What words do you choose, and what is your tone of voice? And, do people listen to you? You may be inclined to think you have to rewrite all your lines and clarify your ideas to make sure people actually pay attention. But beware of taking that burden onto yourself. You are making an effort to get your point across. It really is up to others to listen, and to reach in your direction. Whether they do or not is a reflection of their commitment to you.
 
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
It is shocking the extent to which people don't know what they put in their mouth. I'm talking about food, but you could extend that to any number of things. Food, however, is a big one, and the Moon's close encounter with Ceres today suggests you need to not let other people decide what you eat. There is sometimes a fine line between intuition and peer pressure, but if you give it a thump you'll discover it's as etheric as a heavy sheet of glass. Follow your nose, listen to your gut, and don't eat anything you cannot pronounce.
 
Leo (July 22-Aug. 23)
All good things proceed from feeling grounded and safe. You know more than anyone that this is a state of mind; that what most people consider safety and security is entirely an illusion; a figment of thought, and that often people play this game only half aware of what they're doing. You can put this principle to work for you consciously: it is the idea of safety that you're now able to contact on the deepest level. This contains two concepts: one, balance is the key to longevity; two, everything is always changing.
 
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22)
You are quite possibly at your most original ever, and also more connected to the people in your world than you remember in a long time. The form of the relationships may differ from what you were expecting in the past, but also have some curious overtones of a special part of your past. What you are experiencing has the ability to take you far away from familiar people, places and ideas, and much closer to something that you recognise as being inherently vital for your wellbeing and creativity. You need, more than anything, the freedom to be yourself. Take the dare to a deeper level.
 
Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23)
The key is to not interfere. You can be supportive and aware, but see if you can stand back. You may be present and available, but let the situation unfold. This is what your friend or partner needs: to have the security of knowing you're there, but being able to move through the circumstances making their own decisions and navigating the past in their own way. You can be sure that once they find the words, you will get a good earful of their adventure, misadventure or turning point.
 
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
Scorpio is the 'other first sign of the zodiac' because it's a kind of Genesis Zone. It is the place where everything gives up its prior shape, form and mode of existence, and re-creates itself as something entirely new, but containing the seed of the old. It's often the place where words run out and intuition kicks in. You may finally feel like you've got no further you can go with a particular situation, and like there's no use pushing. I would say you've got a lot further to go, and to push gently.
 
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22)

Not just a lot of loot -- a lot in general.
