Aries (March 20-April 19)
When you have sex with a person, you give them part of yourself, and you receive part of them. There's an exchange, and it's of more than an experience. That's why it's a good idea only to have sex with people we really admire. Of course, it doesn't always work out so well, but that's a good measure for how to evaluate potential partners and how to decide if someone is appropriate for you. Ideally, you would find people who are inwardly balanced -- who have access to their inner male and inner female aspects, and who speak to both of those aspects in yourself.

Taurus (April 19-May 20)
You may need to meet someone on their territory if you want a romantic situation to develop. In any aspect of intimate relationship, though, the orientation is likely to be more on your partner or prospective partner's life than on your own. I would imagine this is a welcome development after so many months of self-involvement and high-speed changes. During these seasons, you've learned a lot about who you are, and you're a lot less likely to completely lose yourself no matter how close you get to another person. But closer is the right direction.

Gemini (May 20-June 21)
Families are conspiracies, as are all social networks. It would make a lot of sense, in that case, to be on friendly terms with everyone, and hear as many stories and versions of the story as you can. Basically, collect information and look for patterns. But the very most important thing you can do is not be intimidated by people, how they feel about you and how you feel about them. For a while, you're going to be living under the effect of everything looking a lot bigger than it really is. But as the old Yiddish expression goes, we don't see things as they are. We see them as we are.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You have the maturity to be a little less mature. In other words, you're stable enough, honest, and clear enough to spend more time playing and celebrating your life. And while much of the time we get ahead in life by keeping our minds on the more serious subjects, the more important advancement you'll do this month involves emotional satisfaction. Over the past few months you've spent a lot of time getting old emotional baggage out of the way. You worked so well that the goal itself disappeared from importance. But the whole point was growing, which means growing into your freedom.

Leo (July 22-Aug 23)
You're heading for a creative fury, which in some ways will carry you forward and in others will set you on a course of reviewing some of your progress of the past few months. This is always a good policy. Whatever you're involved with -- be it creative projects, being unusually enterprising at work, or a romantic situation -- will benefit from a look back. These moments of review will provide stunning insights that carry your ideas far ahead. Remember, though, that part of being popular is having the right people like you; and the other is being disliked by a few of the right people.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22)
In theory, it's important to learn from our mistakes. But a particular challenge arises when the choices you make are based on emotional patterns and, try as you may, the patterns are stuck. The real question is 'how do I learn to feel different, so I make the right choices?' I would say the first step is getting down one extra level into what you feel. I'm not guessing when I say that you're responding to a set of ideas about your feelings that are removed from the feelings themselves. Reach in deeper. What you feel, in itself, IS right. You just need a better sense of what that is.

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23)
You have to love yourself before you can love anyone else. Love that's not supported by a whole lot of selflove in the emotional bank is what some people call codependency. It's based entirely on the response of the outside world, and then 'love' is in essence purchased by supporting the less wholesome qualities of partners. You may have struggled with this issue in the past, but I doubt you will be any time soon. Events of recent months may not have been particularly easy, but you're a smart hobbit. I would say that you learned not that you should care about yourself, but rather that in truth you do.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
We both know that your psyche is an interesting mix of mystery, intelligence, desire and raw emotion. But it's worth it because you get to be a Scorpio. This month, being a Scorpio has something special to offer. You are an attractive person, but for a magnificent few weeks, people will be able to see you, and also see themselves in you. The thing about Scorpios is that they can seem so different, and that can be intimidating. I think you'll feel a deep sense of relief to feel so connected to other people. Your part of the bargain is to see, feel and truly appreciate some of yourself in them.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 22)
With the Sun in your birth sign and Mercury doing a fabulous retrograde there, the cosmos is putting on quite a show. The heavens have hardly been disappointing to those who love adventure and trekking through the wilderness of life and love. But often during these moments of full-on living, it is difficult to have any sense of why life is the way it is, and why the world is the way it is. In these coming weeks, not only does your life get turned up to 11 on a scale of 10, suddenly it becomes extremely obvious what factors are driving your success, and why you're truly safe in the midst of all the divine madness. Look and you'll see.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20)
Most Capricorns have no idea how attractive they are. It has a lot to do with not understanding why their particular qualities get the attention of others; why, for example, you might have an adorable body but people only seem to notice that you follow important news stories and have a real opinion when you open your mouth. Forget why people are attracted to you; rather, just pay attention to the fact that they are noticing. Notice people noticing you. And then, if you notice someone you like paying attention, do something utterly shocking: say hello.  

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19)
It's a good thing that life is not merely a popularity contest. It is, in many respects. But there are times when it's necessary to put some people off, because they are the type who are going to be put off by what you are offering to the world. Usually, people who are offended are fairly harmless, because they spend so much time being that way that they hardly have time to sort their feelings out, much less take action. Still, it would be a wise policy this month to be extra kind to those who take exception to you. It's more than just good politics; it's excellent spiritual practice.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Not every Pisces has had a great year. Some surely have been on an ultimate adventure; others have been ripped from their reality; still others are quietly waiting for the storm to hit. But most are actively dealing with the fact that their lives are changing fast, within a world that is changing even faster. The wise Pisces in these years of history is not just subject to changes. Rather, she is part of the process of change. The ideas you believe, the things you do, the way you treat the people around you -- making all these things fully conscious are part of the progress the world needs the most.
