In response to inquiries about astrological sessions, I am still doing a small number of consultations as I approach the conclusion of my time doing private work with clients.

These days, as you may imagine, most of my time and energy is going into my writing, nearly all of which appears on Planet Waves in one form or another. While it's not one-on-one work, I find that I am able to use my time to be effective with many people. I strongly suggest that anyone contemplating astrological work with me follow Planet Waves Weekly. It will add a lot to your experience -- both before and after your session.

My focus is still on Chiron-related themes (including the other Centaurs) and the session is much more like an intensive dialog than a traditional chart reading.

For those wishing to speak by phone, there is a waiting list that will take about six months to work through, and I intend to do so. I give priority to existing clients. I will also work on an immediate basis with new or returning clients who are living or traveling in Paris or Brussels.

We are also keeping a second list of people interested in phone sessions but where we have not made a commitment to prospective clients. This list is still open. My phone and in-person sessions are taped and include copies of your charts -- but not a written interpretation. I also consider some assignments for electional (marriages, trips, career changes) and horary (questions).

Deirdre Tanton has been a practicing astrologer for ten years. During the Sixties growing up in Baltimore, she fell asleep at night looking at a beautiful Pisces poster hanging above her bed. She felt her first intense astrology buzz as a little girl, standing in the doorway of her kitchen and watching the astrologer from California do the charts of her mom and a few other women. Decades later, in 1990, on a cold winter day in Boston, with Uranus transiting directly over her ascendant, the technology of astrology fell onto Deirdre's lap in the form of a little orange book and never left.
